Glen Larson Law Injury Attorneys will be awarding a $1,000 scholarship to a student pursuing an undergraduate degree in pre-law studies, or a student entering law school in the Fall 2024 semester. This is to be used exclusively for tuition or other related expenses. Students must be accepted into a program at any U.S. school for Fall 2024 and have a GPA of 3.0 or above.

Requirements:

The following are required before the application will be considered:

  • Resume
  • Essay
  • A letter showing acceptance
  • Complete transcripts
  • A headshot picture of the applicant (If selected as a winner, your image will be used when we announce on the site).

Essay:

This scholarship application requires that students write an essay on a topic of their choice, related to an area of law that interests them. Essays should be between one and three pages in length.

Award:

  • The $1,000 scholarship will be awarded in the first week of September 2024.
  • A check will be sent to the recipient directly and should be used for tuition and school-related expenses only.

Congratulations to Jordyn C. Tye: 2024 Glen Larson Law Injury Attorneys Scholarship Winner!

We are excited to announce Jordyn C. Tye as the 2024 Glen Larson Law Injury Attorneys Scholarship recipient. Jordyn is a Juris Doctor candidate at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, where she ranks in the top 15% of her class with a GPA of 3.82. She has earned CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for achieving the highest grade in Contracts and Property and is a Willard H. Pedrick Scholar. Jordyn is pursuing a Law, Science, and Technology Certificate and is an Associate Editor for *Jurimetrics: The Journal of Law, Science, and Technology*. She also holds leadership roles as Executive Director of Finance for the Family Legal Interest Project and has served as a tutor and mentor for fellow law students.

Before law school, Jordyn graduated with honors and distinction from the University of Colorado Boulder, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She was recognized for her academic achievements with the Marketing Student Excellence Award and the Women in Business Future Business Leader Award.

Jordyn’s legal experience includes serving as a law clerk for a family law firm in Phoenix. She has also interned for U.S. Senator Michael Bennet and worked in restorative justice programs in Colorado, where she guided conflict resolution sessions for university students.

Outside her academic and professional pursuits, Jordyn enjoys tennis, indoor rock climbing, and supporting the Phoenix Suns.
