35th Annual Austin Area Toy Run

Santa with Bike

Get ready to rev those engines and spread some holiday cheer because the Austin Motorcyclists are gearing up for their 35th Annual Austin Area Toy Run! On Sunday, December 3rd, the excitement kicks off with kickstands up at 1 pm from Veterans Collective, located at 104 Tradesmen Dr, Hutto 78634. But here’s the best part – you’re not just riding for the thrill of it;  you’re also helping a great cause. Bring along unwrapped toys or gift cards suitable for kids from infants to 17-year-olds, with gift cards being a fantastic choice for the older children. This event is all about giving back, and the beneficiary this year is the Round Rock/Taylor Housing Authority at 1505 Lance Ln, Round Rock 78664.

But the giving doesn’t stop there! After the ride, head back to Veterans Collective for a well-deserved party. Indulge in mouthwatering pulled pork sandwiches, scrumptious baked beans, and authentic Mexican street food lovingly cooked by Bobby Withrow. And if that’s not enticing enough, there are fantastic raffle items up for grabs that will surely add an extra dash of excitement to your day.

As if that weren’t enough, there will be plenty of donuts to fuel your fun-filled day. So mark your calendars, dust off your motorcycles, and join us for an exhilarating ride and a heartwarming experience, all in the name of making the holiday season brighter for children in need. We can’t wait to see you there!

Glen Larson Law Injury Attorneys Cosponsored Carrying Hope’s Summer Hope Pack Drive

Summer Pack Drive

July 29, 2021, Glen Larson Law Injury Attorneys cosponsored the Carrying Hope Summer Hope Pack Drive at the Round Rock Dell Diamond.  A portion of every ticket supported Carrying Hope in their mission to provide local children entering foster care with “Hope Packs” to help ease their transition into a new home. The firm has been and continues to support Carrying Hope as a sponsor.

A Hope Pack is a backpack or diaper bag that is filled with comfort items and essentials donated by community members and sponsors for children entering the foster care system. Frequently, when the children arrive at their new foster home, they usually have nothing. If they have been allowed to bring personal items, often those items have been hastily shoved into a trash bag. We at Glen Larson Law Injury Attorneys believe that kids going through a troublesome time deserve better.

25th Anniversary Republic of Texas Motorcycle Rally Coming to Austin June 10, 2021

At Glen Larson Law Injury Attorneys, our experienced team of legal professionals are members of the National Academy of Motorcycle Injury Lawyers, and we officially welcomed more than 200,000 spectators who annually attend the Republic of Texas Motorcycle Rally to our beautiful city of Austin, Texas.

This year’s 25th anniversary welcomed riders nationwide June 10 – 13, 2021, arriving on the heels of May’s National Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month, which reminds motorists to Share the Road: Look Twice for Motorcycles.

As rider safety advocates who are dedicated to protecting the rights and well-being of our biker communities throughout Texas, it is our sincere hope that the educational campaign resonates with our motorists going forward.

This is an increasingly important reminder, as the Rally has switched gears from its past focus on a parade into downtown to taking in some of the most beautiful scenery our city has to offer. That means tens of thousands of motorcycles sharing our roadways.

Four-Day Motorcycle Rally Places a Positive Focus on Our Austin Community

The four-day rally featured live music, local food trucks, vendors, and manufacturers, trade shows, exhibitions, racing events, and the Peace, Love & Happiness Charity Ride that helps and supports the 100 Club of Central Texas, dedicated to families of first responders who have been killed or critically injured in the line of duty, abused and neglected children, and global causes like The Water Keepers Alliance, which works to ensure every community worldwide has drinkable, fishable, swimmable water.

Glen Larson Law Injury Attorneys Encourages All Motorists to Look Once for Vehicles and Twice for Motorcycles

Glen Larson Law Injury Attorneys’s experienced team of Austin motorcycle collision attorneys hope you never need us. But if your life is impacted by a negligent driver while on our Texas roadways, do not hesitate to reach out for help and support from our committed motorcycle advocates.

Local Law Firm Gives Back at St. Jude’s Evening Under The Stars Virtual Event

Glen Larson Law Injury Attorneys Encourages Donations for St. Jude Evening Under The Stars Fall Giving Campaign

COVID-19 caused cancellations for many events and activities during 2020, but fortunately, it has not stopped St. Jude from raising money for families with children facing childhood cancer.

One way St. Jude raises money is through the Evening Under The Stars Campaign, which is typically held in Dallas. Unfortunately, this year the event cannot be held in person, but St. Jude is making it a priority to hold the event virtually on Saturday, Nov. 7.

This year, Glen Larson of Glen Larson Law Injury Attorneys has offered to match employee donations to St. Jude as a way to give back to families in need.

“The endless care St. Jude provides for families is unmatched, which is why I choose to support all their hard work,” Larson said. “Organizations like St. Jude need all the help they can get right now, which is why I want to encourage others to donate to such a great cause.”

St. Jude is renowned for never billing a family for food, travel, housing or treatment. In the midst of the pandemic, St. Jude is even providing telehealth appointments for these families.

From the time founder, Danny Thomas opened St. Jude in 1962 to now, the childhood cancer survival rate has gone from 20% to more than 80%. These survival rates are not solely from the United States, but survival rates from treated patients from all over the world.
