Why We Offer This Scholarship
As a law firm representing injury victims across Texas, we’ve seen firsthand how access to opportunity can transform a life. Our clients come to us during some of the most challenging moments they’ll ever face, and we fight to help them rebuild. In the same spirit, we offer this scholarship to support students building their futures and aiming to make an impact, whether in the legal field or another profession that improves the world around them.
The Glen Larson Law Injury Attorneys Scholarship provides $1,500 to one deserving student who meets the application criteria and demonstrates thoughtful engagement with a legal topic through a written essay. The funds will be used exclusively for tuition or school-related expenses, helping reduce the cost of college and supporting academic success.
Who Is Eligible to Apply
The scholarship is open to students entering or currently enrolled in a college program in the United States for the 2025 academic year. Applicants may be in any field of study, but we especially welcome students interested in law, justice, or public service. Pre-law and law school candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
To be considered, applicants must:
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Submit a complete application by July 25, 2025.
- Provide a resume, essay, acceptance letter, transcripts, and a headshot photo (used only if selected as the winner).
The Essay: Your Voice, Your Perspective
We ask applicants to write an original essay exploring any legal topic that interests them. We want your perspective on criminal justice reform, personal injury law, civil rights, or emerging legal technology. Essays should be between one and three pages and show clarity of thought, strong writing skills, and personal passion for the subject.
This is your chance to express how law shapes lives—and how you might contribute to that conversation in the future.
When and How the Award Will Be Granted
All applications must be received by July 25, 2025. Our team will carefully review all submissions, and the winner will be announced on Friday, August 1, 2025. The $1,500 scholarship check will be sent directly to the recipient for educational expenses in the upcoming academic year.
We hope this award helps a student take the next step toward achieving their goals.
